  Title: Growing Better Together: Planning, Funding, and Procurement for Regional Success

  Theme: Supporting Regional Growth: Council Strategies in Planning, Funding, and Procurement.

  As Central Otago continues to experience significant development, this seminar offers a practical look at how QLDC is supporting growth through coordinated planning , funding, and procurement. The session is designed to help industry partners better understand:

  • How spatial planning frameworks and urban growth partnerships are guiding development priorities.
  • What funding mechanisms are being used to enable infrastructure delivery.
  • Which upcoming procurement programmes will shape the region’s future, and how industry can prepare to participate.

  Making a measurable change to construction delivery – Presenting Kãinga Ora’s Lean journey Case Study and collaborative panel discussion on how to effect further change and productivity gains for the wider sector.

  Theme:

  Our final CCG Chch Seminar builds on MoE’s recent presentations on MMC and pre-fabrication.

  Kãinga Ora’s national Lean delivery model also demonstrates clear efficiency gains and looks to develop thinking around wider implementation of these models.

  We proposed that these and our CCG 20 year journey may be changing the way construction is being delivered here in New Zealand – A bold Statement, so come along and here how, why and where next.
