Important Notice: Please read carefully before buying training courses or accessing or downloading any training materials from this website.

ALL PRICES AND FEES ARE STATED IN NEW ZEALAND DOLLARS.

The following terms and conditions apply to all online purchases for Constructing Excellence (NZ) Ltd:

Definitions: 

‘Course’     refers to any training and/or event provided by Constructing Excellence (NZ) Ltd.  This includes any classroom training, module, cohort, seminar, workshop, and simulation/role-play exercise.

‘Credit’       refers to monies left on file to the credit of the client which is available as payment, or part payment, for future Courses, products and services. Credits are valid for a period of 12 months from date of issue, after which time they will expire. They are valid as payment, or part payment, for purchasing further Courses, products and services.

‘Refund’     refers to return of monies paid in advance for a Course booking.

Course Pre-requisites:

It is important that all delegates fully satisfy any specified pre-requisites prior to undertaking the training, as time is not allocated to covering assumed knowledge during the course.

Booking, Confirmation & Payment Terms:

To secure placement and admission to the Course - All applicable bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment of Course fees or with an agreed 7-day Tax Invoice issued. For taught and/or paid for courses, bookings close 1 week prior to start date due to pre-work requirements.

  • We take all necessary steps to ensure that any information provided by you for the purposes of payment will be kept secure.
  • Payment can only be made using an authorised credit card at the time of the transaction on our website, or by invoice.
  • Payment by credit card will incur a 2.8% surcharge.
  • Invoices payment terms are 7 days from date of invoice or before the start of the Course, whichever is sooner.
  • Receipts for payment are provided in electronic format.
  • If any information given to us proves to be incorrect, which has resulted in our not charging you the correct fee for the Courses that you are buying, we reserve the right to adjust the fee (upwards or downwards) so that it is the correct fee for your circumstances.
Course prices are subject to change without notice and will be confirmed prior to payment being processed.
Quoted prices exclude GST.
  • Discounts on course fees can only be claimed at the time of booking, prior to payment being made.
  • Discounts will not be offered retrospectively.
  • Multiple discounts cannot be applied to the same transaction. 

Transfers & Cancellations:

Transferring bookings from one person to another is permitted provided you have advised us prior to the commencement of the Course and we have acknowledged receipt of that advice in written form.

To cancel a public scheduled Course: -

The following policy applies for all booking cancellation requests received by us that involve public classroom Courses:

  • We only accept cancellations that are made in writing.
  • Cancellation received with 15 or more business days’ notice before the Course - full Refund provided.
  • Cancellation received with 10 or more business days’ notice before the Course - Credit is provided for full cost of the original course.
  • Cancellation received with 5 to 9 business days’ notice before the Course – Credit is provided for 50% of the original course cost.
  • No Refund or Credit is available if notice of cancellation is received less than 5 business days’ notice before the Course or for non-attendance.

To cancel an in-house training Course: -

The following fees will apply when a client wishes to cancel a course organised and booked purely for their organisation:

  • We only accept cancellations that are made in writing.
  • Cancellation received with 60 or more business days’ notice before the Course - 50% of the Course cost and payment for all non-refundable airline-tickets, accommodation, deposits, or any other expenses incurred due to the Course cancellation.
  • All other cancellations will incur full cost recovery - 100% of the Course cost and payment for all non-refundable airline-tickets, accommodation, deposits, or any other expenses incurred due to the Course cancellation.
If we cancel a Course, (or change course content): - we reserve the right to cancel or amend, in its sole discretion, any Course, at any time, without incurring any additional liability. 
Every effort will be made to give delegates no less than 5 working days’ notice of any cancellation. 
In the event a specific Course is cancelled, delegates will be contacted by us to arrange a transfer to an alternative Course date.  Alternatively, a Credit or full Refund of the Course cost is available upon request.

Constructing Excellence (NZ) Ltd assumes no responsibility for non-refundable airline-tickets, accommodation, deposits, or any other expenses incurred due to course cancellations.

Refund Policy:

Refunds will only be made to the person or organisation that made the original payment.  It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure they book on the correct course they need.  

Confidentiality: 

Regarding any materials that may be received by Constructing Excellence (NZ) Ltd during a Course, pursuant to the curriculum, we shall:

  • keep confidential all know-how, including commercial and financial information,
  • not publish any information of a confidential nature, without the express prior written consent; and
  • disclose know-how, and any other confidential information, only to those persons necessary for the purposes of the relevant Course and only to the extent necessary for the proper performance of their duties.

Copyright:

Constructing Excellence (NZ) Ltd Course pre-reading, classroom manuals, training exercises, and material featured on our website are protected by copyright, and cannot be used by you, or any other party, without express permission from us.  You must ask for written permission to link directly to pages hosted on our site.

Privacy:

Constructing Excellence (NZ) Ltd.  and it's subsidiary The Construction Clients' Group (The CCG) collects, discloses and uses your personal information to provide the events, products and services that you have asked for and associated support, respond to your enquiries or feedback and to promote products and services offered by us.
Also The CCG will, once you have Registered for an event or Workshop, provide your details (name and organisation only) to the other Registrants to allow function and purpose of the CCG to oeprate effectively and efficiently. Constructing Excellence (NZ) Ltd may collect personal information from you, from public sources such as social media websites, and from third parties that provide Constructing Excellence (NZ) Ltd with marketing leads.
 

English Language Requirement:

The course and assessments are conducted in English. To receive a certificate and / or the relevant unit standards you are required to pass written, verbal and practical assessments which are conducted in English. If you are unable to do so you will be deemed not competent and will not receive a certificate or the unit standards available.
