    You’re invited to view Kainga Ora's new homes on Kauika Road in the Avenues - Whangarei

    Date: 4th June from 10am to 1pm, with WDC Mayor and others speaking at 10.30am. 

    Project Description:

    Kainga Ora and development partner Phoenix Property Advisory have completed 95 modern, new homes in The Avenues,Whang?rei.
    To celebrate these much-needed homes, Kainga Ora is holding a community viewing day.
    Come along, have a coffee and join our local team on a guided walking tour through the new homes before residents move in.

    The CCG team will be one site and our KO Members will support the guided tours also.

  • CCG Wellington - 1st Site Visit 2026 to PHF Science's Kenepuru Science Centre

    Location:  New Zealand Institute for Public Health and Forensic Science (PHF Science) Kenepuru Science Centre

    PPE Requirements: TBC.

    Join the CCG for an exclusive site visit to one of New Zealand's most ambitious laboratory developments.

    Discover a highly complex, multi-stakeholder facility taking shape within a fully operational science campus. Spanning approximately 4,000m², this purpose-built centre brings together an innovation hub, advanced laboratories, a forensic service centre, and modern office space — all within an efficient two-storey design tailored for PC2 laboratory and workplace functions. The project also breathes new life into existing buildings on site, repurposed to support ancillary facilities.

    Engaged in 2020, Rubix has led every phase of this landmark project — from initial strategy and stakeholder engagement through design management, Building and Resource Consents, procurement, contract negotiations, and construction administration.

    Early and meaningful engagement with Ng?ti Toa Rangatira beginning before concept design, has directly informed the building's architecture and cultural narrative — a powerful example of mana whenua partnership in practice.

  • CCG SiD Workstream - 2nd Hui 2026

    Looking fwd our next CCG SiD Workstream Event (Hui No.2) is scheduled for 18th June – we are expecting another excellent attendance both on-line and ‘In the room’, at the Vector Office, Newmarket Akl.

    • Timing: Thursday 18th June – 16:30 Hrs.- 18:00 Hrs+ Pizza and a beer afterwards if you can make it f2f.

    Our Theme builds on the initial discussions from Hui1 and will focus on:

        • finding shared threads,
        • SoP’s Themes

        • aligning expectations of minimum levels of good practise.
