Course Description The module provides an introduction to the basic principles of Lean, Value, Risk and Quality and their application to the management process within corporate enterprises.
Learning Outcomes
The aim of this module is to provide an introduction to the principles of Lean, Risk, Value and Quality and to show how these principles can be applied to the management process within corporate enterprises. On completion of the module, participants will be able to:
· demonstrate a knowledge of the core body of knowledge relating to Lean, Risk, Value and Quality and application to the management process within corporate enterprises, · Implement lean principles to engineering and construction related organisations · Implement risk management tools · Implement value management tools, · Understand and apply basic principles of quality assurance and quality control.
