Course Description

This stand alone unit provides an introduction to the principles of excellence in the management of construction business, an overview of effective tools and models including Baldrige's Business Excellence and The Constructing Excellence 5-4-7 Model.  Case studies are used to illustrate the models in action. Topics include:

• "Excellence" - what is it? - overseas experience and the 5-4-7 model.
