PRODUCTIVITY AND LEAN CONSTRUCTION STUDY TOUR TO JAPAN JUST 6 NZ PLACES Monday 6th to Thursday 9th September 2010
- The tour promises to teach us about a whole different culture and methodology of working which is achieving between 50% & 100% better productivity than the UK and since our own is lower than the UK, significantly higher than NZ.
- Most of us at present are trying to maximise our efficiency to maintain some level of margin in an uncertain market or, procure in an current environment of low prices but high risk. This tour promises to provide a myriad of ideas to help achieve this.
- We will be joining around 15 UK delegates so lots of learning there too.
For those of you who are using the Lean LAST PLANNER tool on your projects, you will already be realising much more certainty of outcomes and savings in time and cost. The Japanese methodologies gave rise to this tool and much more!
If you can't go but would like to, we are attending on your behalf and are offering two alternative options: 1. A copy of the tour report and attendance at a full day workshop to be held in early October - $795 per person, $1995 for three 2. A tailored tour report for your organisation (created from your own criteria set before the tour) and an internal training workshop with your team - $4950

CCG Launch Construction Client Protocols
A common and recurring challenge in the construction and property industry is achieving best value. ‘Best Value’ is the outcome achieved when strong client leadership is combined with mobilising successful procurement strategies, a commitment to people and a commitment to quality. The protocols are a dynamic set of guidelines, we expect them to encourage dialogue and generate debate so the concept of effective leadership in the construction and property industry may advance and the protocols evolve and ultimately develop wide acceptance and respect in the industry. Launch date: 23rd March 2010 Auckland For more information: Construction Client Protocol Briefing Document: Click Here Construction Client Protocols: Click Here |
